BAD CRAMPING BUT NOT AS BAD AS ENDO PAIN

The last couple of weeks I have been gettin some bad cramps but they dont seem to last that long :-)
So its 5 weeks now since I got the Mirena inserted and Today for the 1st time I have stopped bleeding (think I should get a share from Always lol).I was advised by the Gynae that the 3 months will be the worst as my body needs to adjust to the coil, but its only in the last couple of weeks that the cramps are getting stronger, however,I am going to leave the Mirena in for 3 months cos I need to give it a chance to work.I can deal with the cramps and its not as bad as ENDO PAIN.
I havent had any mood swings or headaches and very little back pain which is great so far so good with the Mirena. Its my belly button thats still causing problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes there is still discharge coming from it and its gone from being very red to a greyish blacky colour, have no idea whats going on with it but apparantly its NORMAL,yea rite normal my arse!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont get me wrong I am soooooo happy that Im not in agony everyday and dont have to keep takin painkillers and Im really grateful for that but hello,if i do have an infection in my belly button I am concerned that it may spread and I could end up being alot worse than what I am.

Its 1am and think I should go to sleep,up early for work tomorrow :-(

:( :( SICK OF BEING FOBBED OFF :(

Oh where do I start, the last week has just been a nightmare for me and was so annoyed and down that I just couldnt be bothered to do anything.I suppose I should really start at the beginning.

Well it is 5 weeks today since my op and Im still having problems with my belly button.Last Tuesday,I had to leave work at 11 to go to A&E,as my belly button was really sore and started to bleed very badly. The A&E doc took some bloods and felt around the area and agreed that something wasnt right and that it looked like it was infected as there was a very strong disgusting smell coming from it.The doc contacted a Gynae and asked him to see me.
I went to the Gynae clinic and thought that I would see a member of the team that I was under but I seen a Gynae who I never met before. He said that the infection looked as if it was coming from the inside out and prescribed me antibiotics,he also took a swab from the area and told me to go back on Friday morning and if it didnt clear up I would have to go on IV antibiotics.I started taken the antibiotics on Tuesday which cost me €75.00.
On Friday I went back to see the Gynae and my belly button had not improved. He said that ''IT IS NORMAL'' for my belly button to be bleeding 5 weeks on as its the tissues healing inside and that the green puss is coming out from the inside and not to be concerned. He also told me that if I wanted to stop the antibiotics I can as he didnt have my results back so he couldnt confirm if I had an infection or not.
This is my 13th lap and I have never experienced anything like this before. So Im now back to square 1,still have a horrible smelly belly button that bleeds every so often.I have also started to get really bad cramps but that from the Mirena  but I am goin to give my body a chance to get use to the Mirena as its my last hope.
I suppose I just have to keep an eye on my belly button from now on as the Gynae doesnt seen to be too bothered by it................................................

nearly 4 weeks post op and havin a problem :-(

Ok so things have been ok,i have had a period which was bad but that was to be expected, got it last thursday and still bleedin but thw weekend was the worst so just stayed in bed.

I have an infection in my belly button and have already been on antibiotics, but now there is a big bright red soft lump startin to grow out of my belly button (so not normal).I rang the hosp yesterday to try and make an emergency appointment with my Gynae and spoke with the receptionist, she said that the Gynae is over booked and cannot fit me in that i would have 2 speak wit one of the docs.Tried to get through to a Gynae and they wouldnt answer their fones.I tried again Today and still nothing. My belly button is weeping and the smell is really bad.Im becoming very concerned now.

I will try ringing the Hosp again Tomorrow and with a bit of luck il get through to someone,my nerves are gone. The smell is turning my stomach.Im even finding it hard to get an appointment with my GP,so much for having health insurance.

Will post my update hopefully Tomorrow
